Efflorescence in brick ( salts coming out of the clay) is not a massive problem as it can easily be brushed off ( not washed as it dissolves and soaks into the brick to reappear again) and once cleared very rarely appears again . It is however bleeding unsightly ,the bricks choosen can easily...

I’m no structural engineer but I assume it’s not mainly a vertical load , hence the need for the rear connections, don’t think 4 of the flat connections would work due to the vast force of the horizontal load ( IThink anyway)

Cheers for that , my point was if there are no vents through the roof save SVPs and they appear to have finished the roof covering on that section how does it get from the roof to the duct ?? Can the a/c not be hot and cold ?? Suppose the corridors and open areas would/may be a problem ??

Always assumed that was multi room ducted a/c not in room , obviously adjusted/ switched off but never realised it was in the ceiling void ! What about the heat pumps ??
