    47 | Phil Foden - 2025/26

Part of Phil's problem is that he's never grown up either physically or as a person. He's 26 in a few days time but has the physique of a 15 year old youth team player. In the way the game has evolved he's just too lightweight. I fail to understand why he was never given a programme to help him...

So what do we need in the summer....

One thing that needs to be sorted in the Summer is our Recruitment Department. How we have recruited some of the players we have over the last couple of years defies belief .I won't go into naming them as we all know who they are. However our fans seem to be better judges of players than our RT

    33 | Nico O'Reilly - 2025/26

In fairness he's been over-played in the last 6 weeks or so and it has shown.

AFC Bournemouth (A) | PL | Post Match Thread

Lacklustre all over the pitch. Passing poor and defensively highly suspect. Usual suspects came on and contributed zilch.

    The Labour Government

Given that it will be a premium service and the decimation of professional jobs by 2036 there will be nobody to travel on it

Enzo Maresca | Officially announced as City manager on a 3-year deal | Backroom staff confirmed (p163)

I suspect Phil will be pleased with the appointment. Maresca knows him and has seen what he can do. With any other new Manager he would have to prove himself and as such has no credit in the bank. I'm sure Pep will give Maresca chapter and verse on Phil's problems.

Well give that your Personal Allowance has been frozen since 2021 and will continue until 2031 we are being royally shafted

    Pensions and Pensioners

The majority of current pensioners have paid significant amounts in both taxes and NI. Compare what they draw in State Pension to the unmarried single mothers who have never worked, contributed nothing. I lose all compassion when I see them pushing their child around whilst vaping and looking at...

    Media discussion - 2025/26

On The Guardian today I came across an article about Southend winning the FA trophy. Whilst not a supporter their fans and the club have gone through very difficult times in recent years with a dodgy owner so it's good to see them having a modicum of success. Disappointed to see no coverage of...

    AFC Bournemouth (A) - Tues 19th May, 19:30 | PL | Pre-Match Thread

Haven' they lost 2 of their 1stX1 for this game? One following a sending off in their last game and one for dubious texts to an underage girl. Quite a blow for a club of Bournemouth's size

The Bantam of the Opera Choir

A little more of the backstory to Ian. As a youngster his talent for singing was identified by his teacher who advised him to tell his parents that he would really benefit from singing lessons. When later the teacher asked him if he had spoken to his parents Ian replied he had but they told him...

The Bantam of the Opera Choir

If I may just highlight something that some of you who attended might not be aware of. The man who sang the solo, Ian Moorhouse, suffers with Parkinsons. How brave was he and perhaps an inspiration to others

    Media discussion - 2025/26

I think that's why this season he's become somewhat more assertive on the pitch and will not back down. I think he's pissed off with what he sees going on without refs doing anything. As its his last season he's decided not to put up with it all any longer

    EFL Playoffs time

I' m struggling with this. As far back as I can remember clubs have always sent scouts to watch upcoming opposition in actual games. Boro can moan all they like but given the open nature of their training ground there is no such thing as a closed session. The only things Soton are guilty of are...
