    Champions League | Last 16 | 5/6/12/13 Mar '24

Wouldn't mind Arsenal winning. Porto, along with Athleti, were the grubbiest team we faced. Players and manager were unbearable.

    Media Discussion - 2023/24

I don't believe only robots can be impartial. It's genuinely not difficult to write a fair piece.

    2 | Kyle Walker - 2023/24

I think with age, we are best expecting Walker to be an effective role player. I think it unreasonable to judge him according to his peak.

    The Labour Party

Indeed. There was a very good explanation of this on a recent Rest is Politics podcast. MPs playing games about a serious issue. Labour, Tories and SNP all guilty. It's pathetic and embarrassing. The minimum we should expect is a Parliament with adults acting in good faith. It is hardly a...

You're a bad faith actor. Fair play though as some think these are your genuine views.

How do we resolve the Brexit mess?

People may not like Tony Blair but he is very intelligent and astute.

Who's coming to perform at the Coop arena.

Going to see him at the London Palladium later this year. Not my choice. The missus has no-one else to go with. To be fair, I took her to see him in Vegas in 2006ish. It was entertaining. I should get the missus to come along with me to watch Dinosaur Jr or Kristin Hersh who are both in London...

FC Copenhagen (A) | CL | Post Match Thread

It maybe just me but I found the Copenhagen fans to be incredibly irritating. The whining matched that which you can hear at Goodison. It was amusing though that they gave the City players grief for 'wasting time' with the occasional goal kick or throw-in as if we were spoiling the game with...

    NFL 2023-24

I prefer SKY. It has half as many adverts. No preference for who wins tonight. Tough to call but Purdy is below average against defensive lines that can apply pressure, as shown against the Browns and Ravens.

Really sad news. Friendly fella, great sense of humour and a top Blue. It was always a pleasure to bump into him at away games. Condolences to Bill's friends and family x

Brentford (A) | PL | Post Match Thread

A few months ago, Ben Mee went on to SKY Sports to talk about how best to stop Erling Haaland. His 'approach' was to double-up on the striker. I therefore found it amusing that yesterday, he doubled-up on Haaland at one point, leaving one Brentford defender to cover Foden and Bernardo, thus...

    Liverpool Thread - 2023/24

I didn't realise he was taking a sabbatical. I guess he needs a year of rest after trying to keep up with Pep.

    Liverpool Thread - 2023/24

He may already have a job lined up (e.g. Bayern). By making it public he is resigning months ahead of when he will leave will give the indication that he hasn't left LFC for another club. If he joins Bayern, do you think he will moan about other clubs in the league spending money?

Should the club name the stadium after Pep when he goes?

Never understood the calls for Aguero to be seen as the priority for this kind of thing. He contributed no more than Vinny, Ferna and Dave. Yes, he scored the 93:20 goal which topped off everything and he was a great goalscorer but Dave, Ferna and Vinny (and sometimes Yaya) ran the team on the...

Should the club name the stadium after Pep when he goes?

The main benefit of this is when those clowns from Trafford MBC make one of those 'Welcome to Manchester' posters (they still don't get it, do they?), they will have to change it to Pepchester. Another benefit being that the occasional Yonner won't be calling town 'Manny' any more.

Ceferin would say that. He is toeing the corporate line.

Surprised there are 37 pages on Berrada leaving. Honestly, not sure what the fuss is.
