    47 | Phil Foden - 2025/26

I thought he worked hard and was more up for it. But, in terms of pause, control and IQ of elite playmakers; I didn't see that. Still he's a great player on his day no arguing with that

    47 | Phil Foden - 2025/26

No, his passing isn't elite. That's David Silva, KDB, Fabregas, Ozil, Bergkamp etc. Foden lacks that ability. He's a decent passer but not good enough to play centrally for Peps teams. Intellectually, he's also lacking to be our playmaker. He doesn't have the IQ of players like KDB, Lahm...

    How good was Yaya?!

Best central midfielder in premier league history. The complete player at his best. Was a joy watching him play

    9 | Erling Haaland - 2025/26

Most overrated player in the world. I like Belligham but he's not the player people think he is.

    11 | Jeremy Doku - 2025/26

We've not really had a youth project or transition like that. You make a good point but overrall I have faith we'll look real good again in the new year. But, yh could argue Doku hasn't been developed proficiently. Third season here, he should be one of our main players upfront with Haaland

    11 | Jeremy Doku - 2025/26

Maybe he hasn't improved due to a lack of consistent game time. A player like this needs to be a regular starter to smooth the edges of his game.

    4 | Tijjani Reijnders - 2025/26

It's not all on Pep though, it's quality of players. I agree though he must be more flexible especially nowadays with how defensively organized opposition are

    Pep Guardiola - 2025/26

I hope he can be bit more tactically flexible but overrall I'm not concerned yet. A lot of new players to the league and our style joining simultaneously means an adaptation period. Fully expect us to be right up there in April

    9 | Erling Haaland - 2025/26

Rice wouldn't have helped us. Not at that price, I actually think he made Arsenal less fluid

    47 | Phil Foden - 2025/26

Foden doesn't have the passing, vision or through balls to be an effective 10. I sometimes question his decision making to dominate from that position too. His most successful period a couple of years ago, he wasn't really dominating but consistently contributed in the final third.

Match Thread | Manchester City vs. Tottenham (23/08/25)

That's not good for the kids confidence. This will take time, it's a process developing the cohesion

    47 | Phil Foden - 2025/26

Next Grealish I fear. Just don't think these English players are coached or educated properly

    Wow what a player. Dominant!

    Arsenal thread | 2025/26

Biggest mistake they made was sacking Wenger. All that money Arteta wasted in recent years. They're not winning anything again

    47 | Phil Foden - 2025/26

Where does Doku and Savinho fit in this system? They need game time in order to develop. Foden is almost 25 and has had long enough now

    10 | Rayan Cherki - 2025/26

He'll be fine and become an outstanding player with us. Will need a bit of time to adapt to City's style of play and the Premier league. We must also remember he's still a developing player himself

    47 | Phil Foden - 2025/26

He lacks the passing, intelligence and mentality of being the 'main man'. Best he can do is be a secondary playmaker like Bernardo.

    10 | Rayan Cherki - 2025/26

Yh, Cherkis only 21, adapting to a new league and playing style. Im sure he'll become immense for us but it'll take him some time.

    Rayan Cherki

Wow I can't wait to watch this guy at the Etihad; such a talented player
