47 | Phil Foden - 2025/26

Should be playing him as the 10.

Doesn’t suit him because they persist with Bellingham and Kane drops too deep. England would actually win something if they dropped Kane and Bellingham.

Foden doesn't have the passing, vision or through balls to be an effective 10. I sometimes question his decision making to dominate from that position too.

His most successful period a couple of years ago, he wasn't really dominating but consistently contributed in the final third.

Seems pretty obvious that its his ankle, same one that Casemiro done in the last derby. He got clattered in the Al Hilal game when we scored then Ven de Ven smashed it again last week, Foden was limping all over the place by the end.

Unfortunately he gets kicked to bits in the box when he makes his runs but his game wouldn’t be rhe same without the runs. Tricky one to solve.

One thinks was again dropped for the England squad, then is suddenly injured again (deemed not fully fit). Can see what Bernado was on about last year.

I see this type of comment everyone. I guess Bernardo meant EVERYONE at this point. But I am not a friend of excuses for him at this point. Honestly don’t expect anything from him this season.

I don’t think it’s Phil who Bernardo meant, atleast I hope it wasn’t. The problem is, unless it was KDB, them players are still at the club. No wonder there’s not a single improvement from last season.

Yet another no show from him when times aren't great, a fair weather player happy to be available in the good times . Had the club fooled when they believed he could be the Heir to King Kev once he left, was never good enough or committed enough to fill that position.

You don’t know about that tackle against spurs where the defender took the ball then his ankle!? On top of him having continued injured to his ankles all last season! Sorry some fans should know if they going to slag one of there best players off! Know the facts..

Facts are we put all our eggs in one basket with him as Kev's replacement expecting him to step up , and he's done nothing but decline since that opportunity has been available both with Kev leaving and the time he was injured while still here. Doesn't look to have the fight needed to be the focal point of a top class team , only the supporting act.

He’s just a slow healer. His little hand has been strapped up for 2yrs and is showing no signs of getting better. That paired with his plucked and shaped eyebrows and his earrings make him look like a right twat imo. He needs to get with the program.
Jeremy Beadle likes this post.

"No show"

I doubt he's just being flakey and being a no show.

You don't think the extremely well paid medical staff assess the players?

Clearly they do and he wasn't fit to play.

He was limping heavily after being smashed on the ankle by that block from Van der Ven. So would imagine he was injured and there's nothing more to it than that. Looked pretty sharp when he came on so a shame as we missed him yesterday. Not throwing the towel on him yet.

What a bellend one bad season! He was the reason we wont the league the season before where was Kev then?

Hes injured. How does that make him not committed? Do you think he’s done his ankle because he can’t be arsed to play? King Kev had his fair share of injuries himself, did that make him fair weather too?

Unbelievable some of you on here

Half of the team have had their hand strapped up recently for some reason. The Jamie Vardy wank sleeve.
