    Ruben quote

If Ruben had played on Tuesday we would n't have capitulated. Fingers crossed he is fit tomorrow, he has without a doubt been a big miss.

    Media discussion - 2024/25

Liew is up there with Delooney and Herbert, an absolute cock who is stealing a living. I don't think he has ever written an article praising City.

Just hope Dias is fit, not saying he will fix all our problems in defence, but his leadership qualities have been missed.

If they don't it will be brushed under the carpet as usual by the media, Liverpool FC and the Police.

    Liverpool (A) - Sun 1st Dec, 16:00 | PL | Pre-Match Thread

Not looking forward to this, normally optimistic about City chances, but with key players missing and no pace and legs in midfield, I just can't see past a Dippers win. I really hope my prediction is horribly wrong and we turn up and secure the 3 points, nothing would make me happier.

I don't, especially after last night when they can't wait to spew their bile.

Feyenoord (H) | CL | Post Match Thread

Just got back, as soon as they scored the heads went down and defensively we are so brittle currently. We desperately need Dias back, Sunday is not going to be enjoyable.

    Feyenoord (H) - Tues 26th Nov, 20:00 | CL | Pre-Match Thread

Hope Kev starts tomorrow, he won't resolve all our midfield issues, but he will add a sprinkle of magic and creativity which is needed.

    The Title Race - 2024/25

With our porous defence and wastefulness in front of goal, plus no Rodri and a unfit Kdb we unfortunately are not winning it this season.

Spurs (H) | PL | Post Match Thread

Spot on, City need to stop conceding goals and getting caught on the counter. Currently we are far too easy to play against, obviously injuries are n't helping, but as you say Pep needs to be more pragmatic and play a system where we get results.

    5 | John Stones - 2024/25

Love Boulders, but as we all know he is made of glass. Time for some new additions in defence.

Defensively and in midfield we are currently all over the place. Gundogan has gone, I'm very grateful for his efforts in past seasons but he is offering very little at the moment. As tor Rico he needs some time out from the first team as he is clearly struggling.

    Spurs (H) - Sat 23rd Nov, 17:30 | PL | Pre-Match Thread

Tomorrow seems like a must win game, especially with a pending away trip to the Dippers. No Kovacic is a very big blow, we really could do with Kdb starting. If Kev is not available I suspect Pep may start with Gundogan and Bernardo. I would like to see Boulders in there with Bernardo. What ever...

    Pep's contract situation | 2 year extension confirmed! (pg1817)

Absolutely buzzing, wonderful news. I was listening to a Balague interview on 5 live yesterday who mentioned his wife is currently living in Spain. This is a big commitment from Pep and proves without a doubt he loves City and he still has the hunger and desire to win more trophies.

Can't wait until Saturday, this news should be a big boost to the squad. Pep and City are wounded, now is the time to start fighting back.

No Bernardo tonight, not even on the bench. I hope he is not injured?
