Yeah they’ve been backed well by Hopkins, his family own Markovitz building supplies so he’s got a few quid (a few more off me this summer when I’ve been doing my back garden up!!).
True Grant was here last season yeah, he did well. Great with his feet so you could tell he was a City keeper...
Interesting post. Like I said in my post above I live in Buxton and found it mad that Farsley were playing home games so far from home. Not fair at all for the fans of which hardly any came down for the games (understandably). I went to one of the games, I forget who they were playing but it was...
This is a very similar story for me. My last season with a ticket at City was 2019, I then had kids and couldn't afford to keep it. I live up in Buxton now and both my lads play for the club and I coach my youngest lads team. They both get season tickets so I take them along to a few games a...
My kids (9 and 7) love it, Star Wars sets specifically. I never "got" Star Wars when I was a kid but having helped my lads with their sets we then got onto the films and I have to say the early ones are mint and the same for the Lego sets!
Devastating news. I have just seen a photo of Diogo and his wife on their wedding day not 2 weeks ago which really choked me up. Life can be very cruel. RIP.
I must have been unlucky then because we had a load of mouthy pricks on the way back to the tube station. The usual shite being spouted, I had my kids with me so didn’t respond but yeah they’re on the shit list with the scousers and the rags for me.
I’m absolutely buzzing for this one, I’ve mentioned on here a few times that I keep everything crossed for a lower league team at home in the early rounds of the cups so I can take my lads.
My Dads still got his season ticket and managed to get us the “cheap” tickets for this so we’re all off...
Exactly what I do! Every year I keep my fingers crossed for a home tie against lower league opposition. The league games are too expensive for me nowadays with a young family but for this one all 4 of us are going for £45.
