Lego

Anyone else got a problem with this stuff, the amount im buying is getting out of hand. It's great relaxation to switch off from the outside world.

gave my old collection to my nephews over the recent years - had around 25kgs of it stored in crates in the attic, all random shit from the 80s and 90s, but there was a space train in there. quality.

Theres an X Files edition due to be released which I would love, but youre probably talking about 150 to 200 quid.
I always wanted the Friends one. I watched a video on Youtube a while back about why Lego is so expensive, and they concluded that actually if you do a per brick analysis, and take inflation into account, it's basically the same price it's always been. But some of these sets aimed at adults are ridiculously complicated and have loads of pieces.

My kids (9 and 7) love it, Star Wars sets specifically. I never "got" Star Wars when I was a kid but having helped my lads with their sets we then got onto the films and I have to say the early ones are mint and the same for the Lego sets!

Gutted, no way my wife is understanding enough to let me fork out that much on 'a toy'. They dont understand.

I sold it to mine as an easy way to unwind without having the football on or being on the internet, to be fair I think she's more into it than I am now.

Lego is great.

I bought one of the adult Lego sets and built a car recently. It was over £200 but I actually got a knock off one on eBay for about £50.

Thousands of pieces and it took a couple of weeks doing a couple of hours a day but it was great fun and the details are brilliant.

I’ve got my eye on a massive crane next, or maybe an F1 car.
