    Sir Alan Bates

It’s a discussion point. I am not against it, the amount seems excessive and it’s the tax payer who picks the bill up.

Huntingdon Train Incident - Reports of multiple stabbings

I suppose we should be grateful the innocent guy didn’t get shot…….Prestwich.

Huntingdon Train Incident - Reports of multiple stabbings

Hmm it’s hard to control Social Media particularly when posts can be sent from anywhere around the world. I am as guilty as the next person for scrolling through the internet when I have seen a report on TV who are holding back on showing film or not naming someone. They even say “reports on...

Huntingdon Train Incident - Reports of multiple stabbings

Good post. It clearly has more of an affect on you personally than others. What angers me is, the Authorities knew within minutes, by interviewing the guy with him and other witnesses, that he was “doing the devils work” and had mental issues so why the fuck do they leave it so long to tell the...

Huntingdon Train Incident - Reports of multiple stabbings

You and those close to you know you did the right thing. We all say we would help in the comfort of our own home because we try to convince ourselves we are not cowards but on the day I am not sure how many would react and help. What makes my blood boil is the have a go hero’s risk...

It’s the fact that someone has to stand behind a camera telling the audience when to laugh or clap sums up the level of intelligence it’s aimed at

Huntingdon Train Incident - Reports of multiple stabbings

I have never understood why there is a separate police force anyway. It makes a mockery of those signs if you see anything suspicious report it to the BTP. If it is so thinly spread the suspicious person will have long since gone.

Huntingdon Train Incident - Reports of multiple stabbings

You clearly don’t know the definition of terrorism. It can take four forms, criminal, psychic, political or war. They will be covered by one of the four.

Take the subsidies out and it’s down to losses not profits.

Huntingdon Train Incident - Reports of multiple stabbings

If the 20% wealth exit charge is announced in the Budget, nobody is leaving. We will be swirling around in a cesspit of our own making, if I can borrow a phrase from God’s cop.

Huntingdon Train Incident - Reports of multiple stabbings

I suppose it’s how you define nutters. Without wishing to offend anyone, if it’s the old school it’s highly unlikely that more than one person would flip simultaneously so common sense would say the two of them were following a similar cause. Whether the racial profile of the victims when...

    Students Living In Bedsits?

Not sure about a pool and an en-suite but if space is at a premium, if I could be transposed back to my student days, with the right flat mates, I would have settled for a hot tub to perform both functions.

I have not read 5 pages of thread but what does amaze me is how anyone with a modicum of intelligence wastes their Saturday night watching this shit. It’s the same old rinse and repeat theme, year in year out.

Huntingdon Train Incident - Reports of multiple stabbings

I don’t care what other people call them, or their motives, if someone engages in random acts of terror against innocent people, fuck the we cannot call them that .. in my book they are terrorists and should be treated as such.

Stupid little things that bug you

This thread. I agree with 99.9% of the posts which just goes to show what a grumpy old bastard I have become.

    Tipping on ordering

I have had this happen in the past. Surely it’s basic economics …the more that use a service , the cheaper it should be. It’s called economies of scale, but clearly that translates to the economies of greed by some restaurants.

    Post Something Interesting

The average human has 150,000 hairs on their head. Each hair grows between .2mm and.5mm each day. That equates to 35 metres of extra hair on the head everyday.
