It's good to have the right balance and coaching the team to play both ways. There will always be games which you would benefit from counter attacking rather than having possession and vice versa.

Need to leave another man behind from set pieces that's twice in a week that we have been countered far to easily and conceded goals. Need to work on that. I think the set pieces could improve, especially corners.

Re: Martin Demichelis Needs to cut out the slack passing out from the back, will get punished at some point if he keeps giving it away even if it is only once or twice a game. Otherwise had a good game.

Defensively hes fine, he had a bad patch but has been good this year. Obvious flaw is his attacking play but hes reliable.

The main thing is to buy younger players now. We have plenty of experience in the squad and the average age is starting to creep up. Last summer the signings were 28 or above, now they need to be lower/mid 20s and hopefully a few younger ones.

The biggest step from being a player like negredo and someone world class. Consistency over a number of seasons at a high level. Hopefully this is only a temporary dip and he does not have one each season.
