Films people think are 'cool' to like (which are a bit poo)

Can't believe no one has mentioned The Seventh Seal. What utter shite. Decent premise ruined by a terrible film. Clearly a film people say they like to appear 'cool' as it fits the criteria 1. It's old 2. It's foreign 3. It's black & white 4. It's shite

May 13th feature in The Times today.

Does anyone else remember the silence? When the ball hit the net there seemed to be a split second of 'Has that just happened' before the primal screams erupted. When you've felt emotions like that its disappointing to know I'll never feel highs like that again

    Corbieres

If anyone is going into Corbieres my mate Andre is playing Christmas tunes on the trumpet with a couple of others for charity. He's been in there since lunch time and may well be smashed by now but if you can give generously all help will be appreciated. They were doing requests earlier and are...

Favourite scenes from tv or movies

That Blazing Saddles scene is one of my favourites, along with the Mel Brooks cleavage scene. Most scenes in Pulp Fiction are worthy of a mention. The opening of Up is amazing too

    Best pubs you have frequented.

I take it you mean Sarah with the red hair? I like it in Corbs but people saying the beer is good must be drinking something different to me, that's the worst thing about it. Still drink in there every Friday lunchtime. Pubs I like in town: Britons Protection Knott Bar The Vine The Northern...

Billy greens was on toughest pubs in Britain, definition of a quick pint was how fast it was traveling towards your head. The Silver Jubilee near the Netto in Heaton...
