City V Southampton post match discussion

Yeah well the stadium is a far cry from somewhere like Yeovil, so it was nice to be back in the big-time. Very impressed with the Etihad overall, stewarding seemed fair and there was plenty of food/drink outlets. Although £2.50 for a coke was taking the piss a bit...

To be fair that's me judging him at face-value, never actually heard an interview with him.

City V Southampton post match discussion

Yeah we certainly looked dangerous on the counter-attack. First-half I didn't think we'd score, but at 3-2 I had every confidence we could nick another. The "where were you when you were shit" was probably more tongue in cheek than anything else, in response to the usual "small town in pompey"...

City V Southampton post match discussion

My view of the action from the away end: What a game! Fully expected a 3-8 nil thrashing to be honest and was pleasantly surprised. Thought our players were solid throughout and bar the odd shake in defence put in a brilliant display. Clyne down the right was our MotM for me (sorry about the...

    City v Southampton

Re: City Vs Southampton Pre match Discussion Thread Well we seem to be trying out a 4-3-3 in pre-season, as opposed to our previous 4-4-2 with diamond. I'm not sure Sharp will start but I can see him being a late-ish substitute. Lambert will start no question. A lot of people have said it's...

    Southampton sold out

Before I began my away day travels i'm afraid. Is it mainly due to ticketing cost it doesn't sell out do you reckon? At a guess I'd say we've sold 1,500-2,000 of our 2,800 allocation. Can see why people don't want to shift £100 for the day to see us score none and ship 5+!

    Southampton sold out

Those of us who are travelling up next Sunday have been given an extra 5 loyalty points. I guess this means ticket sales could be better. Our OS has also reinforced the pecking order for buying Arsenal away tickets, I guess in a bid to shift a few more City away tickets. Regardless I can't...

    Southampton sold out

Alright lads, Although it may be a sell out in the home end, I can't see is selling all 2,800 tickets we were given. At £49-£51 a ticket + £50 for the train, on a Sunday evening and live on Sky I see it as unlikely. They go on sale to us from Thursday, so I would happily be proven wrong...
