    It has to Thatcher's appalling assault, I was actually embarrassed by that. I think Corradi managed to crock 2 west ham defenders in the first half of a 3-1 win a few years back, not particularly awful tackles but an impressive "impact". I could be wrong but I think Nige did something similar...

    I had to register to reply to this. I was at home in Ireland with my 14 year old son, both of us decked in blue and, as others have said, slumped in a total daze after Mackie's goal. We were both devastated and I was already getting texts from all the rags that I know (it is Ireland after all)...
