The more stupid the comments, the bigger the reaction, the more revenue.

Last week it was reported widely that the panel had backed the claims the Liverpool should have stood. But apparently the vote was 3-2 in favour of disallowing the goal. The BBC headline says panel split on decision. Total distortion as usual.

In that case we will easily sell more than 40,000 which is a decent turn-out for the League Cup. Not expecting many from Brentford

PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

The accounts relate to 2024/25 season which has no relevance to the allegations. If guilty another hearing will be held to decide any sanction. So Magic Hat is a clueless liar.

    Media discussion - 2025/26

The headline is false. Mike Dean merely says he was surprised QPR booted the ball up the piitch from the re-take after Edin's goal. Nowhere does he back the rantings of Rooney. Why wouldn't they boot the ball up the field if they were happy with a draw?

PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

It is just a pure guess but I wouldn't be surprised if Khaldoon and Sheikh Mansour were happy with United's proposals. Sheikh Mansour has made enormous profits on his investments in Manchester. The more successful Manchester is the richer he will become. Inward investment in Trafford can only...

PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

I heard the middle east link to the United plans soon after it was announced from a business contact. The Ratcliffe stance is clear because he knows Khaldoon and he has recruited some of our senior staff. Notably Berrada. Ratcliffe has publically supported City on the 115 case allegations. He...

PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

The toxic media briefings from the Rags against City stopped as soon as Ratcliffe came in. My gut feeling is that he wants to attract Middle East money for the circus tent project. Anti-Arab sentiment is not a good way to do that.

PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

It seems plausible that there would be a rift among PL clubs. The old FFP regs have been totally discredited and a lot of clubs face paying a huge legal bill. Some of them must be getting nervous.

    The Labour Government

Great post. The Tories repeat the mantra that we are the sixth richest country thanks to their policies. Labour always say we are the sixth richest coutry in the world to justify extra spending. As you correctly point out our apparent wealth is a total myth. GDP per capita shows how dire the...

PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

The thing I don’t understand is why the parties have apparently not been given broad timescales. The PL is paying for the panel and will have to budget for the costs over several years. There must have been advance discussions to agree likely milestones in the contract. That said given Masters’...

    Albania v England - Sun 16th Nov, 17:00 | World Cup Qualifier

You are right. A brain fart from me unless I can count the first Club World Cup we played in and won! I thought he had scored v Villa in the League Cup Final.

Norway look great at the moment. They could easily reach the later stages of the World Cup.

Phil is also a big game player. He has scored plenty of goals in matches against Real Madrid, Liverpool, United. He virtually won us the league on his own in 2024.

    Hell’s commentary team

I don't hate him but Stuart Pearce has to be the most gormless pundit of all time. Here's a couple of gems from his radio commentary today on the Albania game: "I am impressed by Tuchel because he never changes the shape of the team." Not much chance of total football then. Another comment...

    Albania v England - Sun 16th Nov, 17:00 | World Cup Qualifier

Foden led England U17s to win the World Cup. He was player of the tournament. He has improved since then. He has been fantastic for City and has won more trophies than any other English player else at his age. Last season his form dipped but he still scored 13 goals from midfield. He was far...

    Albania v England - Sun 16th Nov, 17:00 | World Cup Qualifier

I actually think England have got as good a chance as anyone because the quality of international football has never been lower. Where have all the great teams gone like Germany, Brazil, Argentina, Holland, Italy, Portugal. The best teams are probably Spain and France and even they are much...
