Why not? Rudiger won the Champions League then fucked off from Chelsea when they didn't give him the 400k a week he wanted. Two of these players are at the age where this is their last chance to get a big contract at a club that's still competing. It's probably both of their last chance to play in La Liga if that's something they're interested in. Salah has been the best player in the league this year, and he'd be well within his rights to demand to be one of the highest paid players in the league. And then with Alexander-Arnold, if those two leave, he has to decide whether he trusts the board to bring in world class replacements. If not, he might think it's time to leave a sinking ship even if they look like winning the league this year.
Calm down. No cunts leaving there if they win the league. New era you salivating muppet. They’ll all be on it. Maybe those closest to the door weren’t in wiggys team.

If you beat them this week the dynamic changes totally.

Liverpool have gone to Old Trafford and the Emirates as tough away games

We (Arsenal) have gone to Chelsea, Villa, Tottenham, Newcastle, Man City,

City have gone to Chelsea, Newcastle, Brighton. This week you will chalk Anfield off the list.

As far as tough games away v the 'big 6' + Newcastle and Brighton. Arsenal have played 5 to Liverpool's 2, and after this week City will have played 4.

So if you win, Liverpool's lead at the top would be a mirage. Like in the 400m sprint. The guy who is winning after 50m is winning because he starts ahead, however toward the backend of the race, the sprinters behind have a shorter pathway to the finish line.

Wouldn't surprise me if you win this weekend. Football can work like that.

True. I just can't see us winning there at the moment given the fragility of the team. I'd take a draw now if you offered it me because I don't think 8 points is an insurmountable gap, whereas 11 makes it very difficult.

I would add that I don't think Liverpool have been playing as well as their points haul suggests and they had an almighty scare at the weekend against the bottom-placed team so you never know. They've also been fortunate with injuries, whereas City and Arsenal haven't.

I know some fans are fearing a battering but it could turn out to be one of those cagey affairs where both teams end up largely cancelling each other out.

For us to get anything then we really need Dias to play. His leadership and organisational qualities have been sorely missed this past month. I'm livid that we lost him in a League Cup match. Even if he does play, we're right up against it on Sunday.

We don’t really do cagey affairs. We can’t defend over 90 minutes these days.

How have Arsenals injuries been any worse than Liverpools?

Alisson, Jota, Elliot all been injured for over a month.

Arsenal have gone for a couple of weeks without Odegaard and completely collapsed.
