    What has the UK become?

What's strange is stating Rwanda are our only hope. Our only hope for what?

    What has the UK become?

I actually pity those who think this is the gravest issue facing the country; moreover those who think this policy is the best solution. Dense as black holes, the lot of them.

    What has the UK become?

Deary me. Too late? Are you one of those who thinks we will become a theocracy if we don't stop the brown people?

    What has the UK become?

The cosmopolitanism of London is what makes it great. Funny that. I too have worked there, on many occasions; if we were to take away the immigrant labour the city would crumble.

    What has the UK become?

It's a performative policy. Statistically speaking, it won't make a scrap of difference. Public services have been on the bones of their arse since these twats assumed power. Demonising immigrants won't change that. These twats have destroyed the reputation of the country. The GE is going to be...

    Happy St George's Day

By default, Nazi thugs have no brain cells. So no, they won't. Regrettably the people that need educating in this world are the ones that are beyond educating.

    The Conservative Party/Government

Great post. Sums up my sentiments to a tee. They're evil bastards who should be deported themselves.

    The Conservative Party/Government

I must admit the dishonesty stick is a strange one for a Tory supporter to wield. Spectacular really.

    The Conservative Party/Government

It's a common misconception that those arriving by these means are claiming from the system, it's a misconception borne from hate and sadly many in this country buy it; it's the old "they took our jobs" trope. I maintain that most buy into it not because they have a fear of hospitals or schools...

    The Conservative Party/Government

This is their golden ticket. A policy that appeals to knuckle-dragging racists, to a sub section of the electorate that don't understand the momentous issues facing this country reach far beyond a family of Afghans reaching our shore looking for a shitty one bed hovel they can call safe haven...

    The Conservative Party/Government

But it's those all those pesky immigrants that are the cause of the country's woes, mate. Getting them shipped off to Rwanda will result in nurses being paid a fair rate, the standard of our transport infrastructure aligning with Germany's, teachers given the resources they need, etc...

    The Conservative Party/Government

I wouldn't call it annoying. Annoying is spilling coffee over your jeans when you step into the car. I'd call it enraging that she's gonna be picking up the pension she is; yet another indictment of out system.

FA Cup Semi Final | Coventry City v United

Complete garbage, although I would love to be proven wrong.

    Donald Trump

I've just finished watching the OJ doc and what staggered me was how partisan the jury was, I thought selection of jurors was as disparate as possible to avoid any potential favouritism or preconceptions; is this an issue unique to the US? How exactly are their jurors selected?

The British Monarchy | Princess of Wales diagnosed with cancer (p396)

Course he won't. He also won't be told he has a year to get his act together or have his luxury benefits stripped from him.

    Cole Palmer

This is pure revisionism. Jesus and Zinchenko started well last season then fizzled out; at no point did they receive the kind of plaudits Palmer is now receiving. I thought Palmer was brilliant yesterday, and were it not for Jackson's atrocious finishing would have had two assists to his name.

    FA Cup Semi-Final | City v Chelsea pre-match thread

Regrettably he's gonna have to make changes after the efforts of Wednesday night. Four in a row is essential now, the FA Cup would be a lovely little bonus; that's all. If I'd had a choice between retaining Big Ears or four in a row at the start of the season I'd have chosen four in a row...

    FA Cup Semi-Final | City v Chelsea pre-match thread

Much more confident he'll succeed here than I was with Phillips. We've seen glimpses from him; good at knitting passes together in the final third and excellent ball-carrying ability. Though I don't ever see him as a Rodri deputy.

    Liz Truss Resigns as PM

Yes. Irrespective of your views on Cameron, Blair, etc. at the very least they had statesman-like qualities. Our last three PMs have been court jesters sent out to entertain the masses. But the joking has been unfunny and cruel.

    Liz Truss Resigns as PM

The underlying problem was she became PM. This woman was once the second most powerful person in the country; albeit for a couple of months. Let that sink in. We stopped being a meritocracy a long, long time ago.
