    Kevin De Bruyne 2016/17

I'm one of his biggest fans, but he had an absolute shocker tonight. Really gutted. That being said, you still had the feeling that he was most likely to be the one to cause any sort of trouble up front. It's definitely also a problem with the coaching/tactics. But overall his passing was terrible.

    Kevin De Bruyne 2016/17

This. The whole Silva-KDB-Sterling interchanging positions just isn't working. They just end up drifting away and it's way too hard for them to find each other in a fluid way. A lot of times you see KDB and even Sterling make runs into wide open space on the wings but just get ignored because...

Very sterile football. So flattering to Arsenal.

    Lukaku

No way. Lukaku can easily turn out like Bony. Plus he will require first team football and needs A LOT of confidence from his surroundings or he is absolutely terrible. He is scoring well now, but overall I think he has a considerable negative effect on the team performance if he isn't.

Well nothing spectacular though for a non-fan. Apart from the goal against Newcastle, which was considered a fluke and was overshadowed by Aguero, most of his impact gets undersated in highlights (in part due to a lot of his created chances being wasted)

Aside from the fact that it's a spurs fan, it's probably because he only watches highlights.

How some people can rate Yaya's performance as decent is beyond me. He was terrible. He gave Pogba all the space in the world, his forward passing was pretty shocking and lost the ball quite often. To me it seemed he had a negative nett-effect on the overall team performance.

Maybe that's the problem. He (Yaya) is supposed to play as one of the three attacking midfielders behind the striker, but stays deep much too often, leaving Sterling and Debruyne isolated, which was clearly the case against United.

He seems to be at his worst when Yaya plays in an advanced role. I think because there isn't much fluidity and movement with Yaya. Also pretty much no forward pressing with Yaya, which you can see him getting frustrated with. And not to forget that he was played as central forward for the...

When I see Bony he reminds me of the bastekballers in Space Jam that get their powers taken away by the aliens

No way man. He was at his absolute worse against United. Almost no completed passes and forced thing way too much. Look at his chances created in previous matches. Certainly not a typical preformance. Against Sevilla, he was definitely not as poor as he was against united. Other than 2 bad...

That's being a bit too biased imo. To be honest pratically all his passes didn't conect. He sould've at times just chosen to play the simpler passes. I think the issue was that he clearly felt he had to step up, which made him try to force things way too much. If a silva or Aguero were on the...

    The Derby Post Match Thread

Yaya,De Bruyne, Bony and Sterling were all terrible. So I can understand going for a draw towards the end. It's clearly what United was aiming for as well. When they were in possesion going forward they just played the ball around no real threat. Just some quality flashes from Martial but other...

De Bruyne should be play in the middle or on the left at the least in the second half

I think that is just a testament to his hunger in the game. That's why I believe he has the consistency he has over long periods. Just keeps being humble, and doesn't get carried away at all. Isn't satisfied just being on the pitch.

In regards to him being nominated for the Ballon d'Or, it really does confirm black on white that he can easily be considered a world class player, no matter what anybody says. I mean look at that list, that is not a fluke, those are all top top players. And then look at the teams where these...

Regarding the "fluke" finish, I believe the intention was to still lob it over the keeper, but he just didn't connect perfectly, which is what he said.

Maybe it also has something to do with the fact that he is the second most expensive player to come the PL and last time such a player came along, aka Di Maria, and had a few good first games they all went bonkers on how brilliant he was for Utd. until that turned out to be the real fluke. May...
