Barm, proper butter. Butcher's thick cut smokey bacon with any excess rind removed. Chef's choice dinner sausages, sliced in half lengthways. Sliced fresh tomato. Black pepper. Even distribution of sriracha, lid side. Perfection.

Relax, people. He's running a new OS update and its just a little buggy. Patch fixes are being coded as we speak.

PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Is it like this? Fix it for me if needed. An analogy. Jimmy went to a Spar on 3 occasions about 10 years and ago, and walked out of the shop, each time, with a bag of maltesers in his pocket. Hes been charged with shoplifting. But, for some reason, hes been charged not once, for the...

    Cole Palmer

There was reportedly some behaviour in questionable taste between him and the spanish lad, Gomez, immediately after england won the euro U21 final against spain. Celebrations taken a little too far, and perhaps some cross words exchanged. I wondered to myself if that played a part in his...

    19 | Julian Alvarez - 2023/24

Genuinely great player this lad, really measured. He might be the best set piece man we've had for a few years. His corner deliveries are perfection.

Towns & Cities that are F----d.

Glasgow and Manchester are quite similar cities imo. Sprawling concrete/ brick jungles, miles and miles of dull or dirty or just shit, but in each there are small islands of real beauty. Mrs reckoned the shopping was better in Glasgow. I travel a bit for work. The all time lowlights are...

PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

My guess on what i read was that he created a phishing scheme good enough to fool 50-something directors of football clubs. Which doesnt sound *that* difficult if youre capable of spelling correctly, for instance (we've all had our 'bank' contact us in English that looks written by a 6 year old...

PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

I find myself wondering what kind of low key semi-diplomatic influence would be available if AD sought to look at it. Every time a brick is laid, or a job vacancy is posted in Openshaw or Beswick, it's paid for by a kind of outside investment UK PLC is rather badly in need of. I'd imagine our...

PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Worth saying, theres nothing in the last 10 years of this shit to say that City's corporate accounting is anything less than 100% above board. Football authorities charges are all associated with what are effectively rules (ie FFP policies) for routine participation in league or cup...

PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Not sure if its own thread but theres a German (jist i got) produced film on netflix, new release, relating to the Portuguese hacker that got into various football clubs and leaked ultimately what became the Der Spiegel stories. City get a look in of course and theres a photo of Pep with the...

    Haaland Record Tracker

Dixie Dean, in the game of his time, never got subbed off after an hour having scored 2 or 3 goals to give his team control of the game. Less about the fact of Pep being his manager, more so about the fact of routine player replacement not being introduced until several decades afterwards.

    Snow

Usually put winters on the front of my FWD but need new this year and cost of living bites. Theyre beneficial at 7 degrees or below, in any weather. Aquaplaning resistance is the single best reason to use them but braking grip is another. Either could save your life. Theyre mandatory in Germany

    Gas & Electricity

Ive moved the dryer out of the lean-to utility room into the kitchen. Its 10 degrees warmer as it works and the waste heat warms the house. Hoping thats an efficiency benefit. Heating is now on but gonna see if it can stay at a 'low light' of 12 or 14c. Going ok so far...
