    Matheus Nunes

Does it make sense for both sides to send Phillips the other way? I think Nunes would be a great signing..

    24 | Joško Gvardiol - 2023/24

Was going to make the same point. He stays patient and as soon as Wilson takes a slightly longer touch.. he strikes and disrupts the dribble. Brilliant.

Foden and Kovacic are bossing midfield

    Newcastle United (H) | Sat 19th Aug, 20:00 | Pre-Match Thread

I keep hearing how good their midfield is.. and with the team we have, it might actually suit our strengths for them to be on the ball a bit more and let us play in transitions... Foden and Haaland might do some serious damage :)

    47 | Phil Foden - 2023/24

If there's an upside to the Kev injury it's unleashing Foden through the middle. Cannot wait to watch him flourish..

    47 | Phil Foden - 2023/24

I feel like he was involved in every dangerous bit of play we had... give him time through the middle and he will make it his own. Can't wait to see what he can produce while Kev gets better.

    31 | Ederson - 2022/23 Performances

I watched the replays of the Bayern and Real games last night and some of his saves across those two games and the final was magnificent. He elevated his game in the most high pressure moments.

    47 | Phil Foden - 2022/23

I was rewatching some of his highlights yesterday and it struck me how many of the opportunities he creates come from left midfield or playing off triangles on the right.. Can't wait to see him back in the side. I just hope it isn't with him stitched the left wing

    26 | Riyad Mahrez - 2022/23 Performances

Not sure if it's been mentioned, but is it crazy to suggest that was his best performance for the club? Not only that, but that could be the most aggressive I've seen him play for City? What a game!

    47 | Phil Foden - 2022/23

FWW. It's not a mirror image of the Haaland chance, but Kane missed this.. I don't think anyone really cares that he didn't pass. Same goes for Foden. If we ridiculed every decision our players make, it'd make for a miserable time. They are all fantastic. Foden bounced back and put one in the...

    10 | Jack Grealish - 2022/23 Performances

This was showcased in the 2nd goal of the West Ham game when he held the ball up perfectly before releasing to Rodri.

Is our squad stronger or weaker than last year?

I think our best 11 is stronger, but overall squad depth is weaker. On balance, I'd prefer a stronger best 11, but it certainly makes me nervous if injuries build up - especially in a WC year

    Marc Cucurella

Could the Chelsea talk be posturing from Brighton? In hope that it spurs city into increasing their offer? Chelsea already have Chilwell and Alonso.. not sure it makes much sense for them to sign him for $50m

    19 | Julian Alvarez - 2022/23

He is so exciting. He’s the type of player that makes defenders nervous. I’m interested to see how he fits on a wing.. but I’d love to see him and Halaand up front vs Bayern

    Real Madrid (H) - Tue 26th April, 20:00 (BST) | Pre-Match Thread | Team news (pg 67)

Pep often gets criticised for overthinking these types of games, but with the injuries to Walker and Stones, it feels like this is an opportunity for Pep to get creative. Rather than him starting a conventional make shift back four, would fans be against Pep trying something a bit unusual to...

Hasn’t received a single vote but Jesus was a game-changer tonight

    10 | Jack Grealish - 2021/22 Performances

He had the disallowed goal early on. A key pass that wasn’t finished in the 20th minute. The step-over non-assist that should have been finished later on in the goal. And finally in the 88th minute when Sterling decided to shoot when Grealish had a wide open goal. I feel like he will explode in...

    16 | Rodri - 2021/22 Performances

what a season he is having.. he has a presence all over the pitch! the underrated part of his game is his defensive aerial work. Just immense

    #7 | Raheem Sterling - 2021/22 Performances

I feel that the form will come with consistency in game time.. which will be more afforded in the congested fixture, but is anyone else more concerned over the effort. It seems when he comes on, he presses half-heartedly. It stands out in comparison to Bernardo + Gabby who’ve been running around...

    20 | Bernardo Silva - 2021/22 Performances

Is it crazy to ask the question of who adds more value to City between Grealish and Bernardo? I love Bernardo’s tenacity and work ethic away from the ball, amongst many other things. If there were to be a criticism to his game, it would be that he technical gifts don’t necessarily translate to...
