PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Pointless to jump to any conclusions yet, nobody is yet aware of all the details, including our club likely. The accusations are quite serious though. I think unlike the UEFA thing few years ago the PL investigation is most likely to have been much more professional and not contain obvious...

    Spurs (H) - Thu 19th Jan, 20:00 | Pre-Match Thread

Expecting another very close game decided by small moments for either side, coin flip if it goes for us like the Chelsea league game or to oppo like the last game. I don't think either us or Spurs are good enough to really take a comfortable win here.

    17 | Kevin De Bruyne - 2022/23 Performances

I have bit different opinion to those wanting to bench him. He isn't in top form but he is absolutely needed in this team. I'd rather take De Bruyne who wastes 4 passes and creates a dangerous moment with the 5th than any of our other midfielders who have 95%+ pass completion with around 100...

    9 | Erling Haaland - 2022/23 Performances

If he doesn't score or get chances he looks completely useless. That's not his fault either and isn't even a criticism. We knew what kind of player he was and it is up to us to make it work. He is one of the best goalscorers and difference makers in world but he is never going to be good at all...

United (A) | Post Match Thread

Refs fucked us with that decision but we were shit too. We had a good 25 mins in 2nd half but other than that they were more dangerous. On another day we don't get out of that 1st half goalless. So disappointed watching us set up every other game with defensive mindset, prioritising control...

Refs fucked us and we are shit, both are true at the same time. We had a good 30 min period but need more at this level.

Real Madrid vol2, fucking collapse after that 1st goal

United legs are gone, too much running over aimless long balls. Without a brainfart we should get this over the line.

0.1 xG for us in 1st half I guess is an accurate representation of our play today. Extremely defensive minded, prioritizing control over risk. We may still sneak a win but that kind of performance isn't really what City is about if we believe Pep and our executives.

We've gone with safety first attitude. First pass is always backwards after winning possession

    47 | Phil Foden - 2022/23

The most disappointing player of the season for me. He has so much potential and uses so little, only showing flashes once every 3 games or so. By now I think most of us can see the limitations of Grealish and Mahrez this season but somehow Foden manages to be worse most of the time when...

    7 | Joao Cancelo - 2022/23 Performances

He has been average at best the entire season but after his deserved benching in World Cup for Dalot it feels he has lost his confidence and maybe a bit of motivation. Should be benched and used as impact sub for foreseaable future until he gets his head right. Not signing a proper LB coming...

    Chelsea (A) - Thu 5th Jan, 20:00 | Pre-Match Thread

Chelsea are a weird team. Not really good at anything but usually will give everyone a game. If we play to our standard we'll win but that hasn't happened in a while. Expecting a tight game, decided by small moments.

    Premier League Games 30/31 Dec & 1/Jan '23

Gonna say the same I said here after like 5 GWs. This Assenal team reminds me of our 100 pt season. They don't have individually as good of a players as we did and therefore won't reach our heights of course but they have all the same attributes. Press hard, balance between possession and...

Everton (H) | Post Match Thread

Frustrating and disappointing. For most of the game we ended up playing the game Everton wanted. It was more about arguing, physical challenges than about football. And when we played football there was no tempo or pace as it had been drained out by the previous things. As usual, our opponent...

Match Thread | Man City vs Everton (31/12/22)

What a scrappy game. They scored their only chance but situation isn't very different for our attack. We've had the ball around the area a bit but with so many players back for Everton difficult to get a shot through.

Long shots is about the only thing Gray can do well. I'm sure some analyists told our defenders that. Closing him down around the box is a priority even if you leave some passing lane or space open, Gray isn't smart enough to use that really.
