FA Cup Semi Final | Coventry City v United

Clear and obvious. Goal hanging. Not this though.

FA Cup Semi Final | Coventry City v United

Got to feel for the Coventry fans who aren't used to VAR, celebrating a last min winner against the mighty Man Utd in a semi final at wembley to take them to a final against the best team in the world. Those seconds, minutes would have been the best feeling - what football is all about - akin to...

FA Cup Semi Final | Coventry City v United

Ha, oh yeah, I was at that too. In the 80's and 90's most of Rochdale supported Utd and half the crowd were a mixture of City n Utd which was an odd atmosphere.

FA Cup Semi Final | Coventry City v United

TBF it's not that long ago I watched Rochdale beat these at their own ground in front of about 22 fans which shows you their level.

    Chelsea (N) | FA Cup SF | Post-Match Thread

[Pre note to this I have adhd, apparently]. Football has taught me more about dealing with emotions than any philosophy of mental health has. For example, Stoicism is advised for adult ADD in focusing on what you can control, such as your reaction to an event, rather than being controlled by an...

    The Conservative Party/Government

Re the sick note stuff. This is like playing a cup final with the opposition teams manager as the refferee and everyone on VAR employed by the club chairman with additional cash bonuses for red cards.

    Media Discussion - 2023/24

Every single football fan and journalist critical of Haaland (last yrs top goal scorer and current top for this yr) would let the entire Man City football team pass them round the changing rooms like a prison porno mag at the chance of having him in their own team.

Real Madrid post match post mortem

You can't win them all but I'm proud of how we dominated after their goal and took it to pens. We need to work out a way of breaking down these defenses.

    The Title Race - 2023/24

I thought that too. We've won leagues from losing positions but the fans have helped.

Not just this game but every game our defenders are running back whereas theres are already static. We get done on counters wheres theres wait whilst we have possession in front of them.

    Liverpool (A) - Sun 10th Mar, 15:45 | PL | Pre-Match Thread

My concern is we go for it, probably have all the possession and they go and do that shitbag counter. I'd like to see some defensive contingency in place for this.

    Liverpool (A) - Sun 10th Mar, 15:45 | PL | Pre-Match Thread

I work in mental health and unfortunately there are some people who come to us with psychosis due to severe and prolonged exposure to trauma. Sometimes, a defence or escape mechanism was formed in an attempt to cope with the stress or abuse. The resulting psychosis can often lead to what...
