I thought he was selfish today. Our 17yo prospect picked a perfect pass for him on the wing and then moved into yards of space in the box. Instead of picking him out Sterling takes on the near impossible shot. Is he normally a selfish player?
Odegaard looks like he's out for about 2-3 months, Merino is out for 3 months, Tierney is always injured but not close to first choice, Tommy is very injury prone, as is Partey, as is Jesus
There's 7 or more, Rice, Odegaard, Merino, Zinchenko, Tomi, Tierney, and I'm a bad fan because I'm struggling with the other name or names off the top of my head. Oh wait I remember now, it's Calafori
If I was a betting man, I'd have money on Phillips being a board buy and not a Pep buy. He got 3 league starts. Now his confidence and match fitness both need to massaged back to life. I reckon he'll be a loan with an option unless West Ham fancy him in the summer.
Welbeck was 1 of my favourite Arsenal players for a few years. Tireless, unselfish, good link up and put United out of the FA Cup. I think we should of extended him and he'd be a useful squad player today
Well no team has a right to win things do they? If you were a Man City fan before the take over you'd probably accept and appreciate that because there's nothing wrong with enjoying football and not winning the top honours. There was nothing wrong with supporting City when they didn't win...
I'm not celebrating a point at all, I think we really needed the win. But like I say you were so good you pressed off the pitch.
As for yellows come on mate, this is English football, do you want every 50-50 to end up in a yellow? Your lot could of got a couple of yellows they didn't too.
I...
I don't think it has anything to do with 'winner's mentality'. You pressed us off the pitch so we couldn't build up any possession. Cities performance suffocated us, like we suffocated yourselves when you came to the Emirates. I don't think our players could of done anything more, they fought...
I can disagree that you aren't good, you are, believe in yourself more my friend. But we can find some commonality in agreeing that I'm a bit or weirdo, I'd agree with you on that 1. Thank you for your time
In reality, my team couldn't do much against your team because of your pressing, you just kept taking the ball of us. So we had to drop deep and defend. It was a great pressing performance and possession performance from City. And Arsenal had to survive by dropping deep to defend.
No I don't, you're a great team either way in both seasons. Halaand is a great traditional striker, but I think Pep adjusted his tactics, which ideally for him he would not do.
The press from your side was unbelievable today. We're a reasonably press resistant side and we couldn't react to...
You may of been taking the piss but you were also right because Halaand hasn't contributed at all in the last 3 games against us or against Inter and doesn't fit with Pep's total football philosophy. Remember Pep wanted Kane who's a better pure footballer and had to be convinced to take Halaand...
For City, I found Grealish the biggest threat, KDB a problem too and Rodri the pass master
For Arsenal Saliba and Gabriel probably with Odegaard being our best creative threat. I knew Jesus was scuffing that shot before he hit it
Is it a coincidence that he makes that comment about a group of players that are all people of colour and compares them to a rapper? Would he of said it about the Kane, Rice and Maguire? I think the dog whistle is quite strong on this one.
