    Jamal Musiala

Quite the opposite, I think. Musiala has had his eye on the Premier League, thus delaying his extension for the last couple years. Bayern have been trying to extend as far as I know. Bayern tapping Wirtz will allow Musiala the freedom to leave. They occupy similar areas so having both is...

    General transfer rumours

Used to bet on it a bit so tuned in occasionally. But a healthy Al-Hilal should easily win the Turkish league. I mean, just look at this lineup:

    Eberechi Eze

Probably ends with a couple weeks left in each window so that the club has a chance to bring in a replacement.

    General transfer rumours

This is false. Al Hilal would comfortably be the best team in Turkey this season. The 10-20 ranked teams in both leagues have very similar club rankings. Al Nassr similar to Gala and Fenerbache. Not much to separate these two leagues in terms of quality.

    General transfer rumours

Yeah hard to argue with this piece of business at such a low fee, but I'd be surprised if he made any real impact for Pool. Lost a step since his injury. Likely plays against lower level opposition when Salah can be rested.

    Ivan Toney

Not a title threat until they start benching Enzo or Caicedo. They just don't work well together. Toney is not a big enough upgrade on Jackson to be a difference imo. I'd be playing Caicedo and Lavia holding with Palmer in the 10/RCM. Nkunku playing off Toney with Neto and one of the other 100...

    Alvarez replacement thread

Yes, Arsenal won 2 nil. You can find match results on the PL website for future reference; you don't need to be asking silly questions here!! He created two tap-ins that Watkins missed, would've gave Villa the lead twice. Gave the Arsenal defense the run around a couple times. Sounds like you...

    Alvarez replacement thread

Morgan Rogers has impressed this season. Man City academy player. Only turned 22 in July. Could be a decent backup. Not sure he'd be willing to leave his role as a starting striker for Villa, however. Probably no chance of this but seeing him walk over Arsenal last match was impressive.

Kyogo Furuhashi - on final striker shortlist

Makes sense that. Could live with it. I think loaning McAtee will be fine, especially where we could have Echeveri here in January. Smart business. Buys us time to find the next gamebreakers. No need to force the issue.

It's Quiet 18 - Wanna ring the bell?

Agree. Some of his advanced metrics in La Liga last season were promising. Might have a player in this lad if he continues to develop the right way. Seen Como have also signed Sergi Roberto and Nico Paz, and of course Varane. Should be a good landing place for Maximo.

    Ivan Toney

I find it a bit weird that everyone here is completely nullifying the idea of us signing him because he is potentially (maybe even likely) a twat? If he acts up, Pep will put him in his place, as he did with Cancelo. He's here to play football - not wife up your daughters. Even if he barely saw...

It's Quiet 18 - Wanna ring the bell?

Have a hard time understanding why we let Delap go, if we were expecting Alvarez to leave, without having a new Haaland understudy in our sights. Top class first half to his Premier League season.

Eze's release clause expired. Guess he's not the one for us. Fine with that.

Joao Cancelo | Al Hilal Player

Seems the fact he can play right wing and wingback forcing our hand in terms of *considering* keeping him around. Twat of a face but if he's willing to eat crow and put in a couple 8/10's for us he should be welcome to stay.

Didn't this lad tell Bayern and Arsenal to do one as well? And I think Barcelona before those? Doesn't matter if he's being discussed if he likes his mom's patatas bravas...

Guler will start over Rodrygo in the most important matches if Madrid want to actually improve. If not they can continue to get battered by City over two legs each year. No control as it stands.

It's Quiet 18 - Wanna ring the bell?

I guess if we were in for a winger/forward - that process will be expedited with Bobb's broken leg. Rodrygo?

    Bruno Guimaraes

Newcastle are one of the last teams that need a wing back, so unless they plan on playing him in the midfield, they will have little interest in Rico. They have arguably two of the best wingback prospects in England right now in Lewis Hall and Timo Livramento. Not to mention Dan Burn and...
