Jamal Musiala

I agree. Feels like this lad is destined to be in the Prem eventually, whether that’s next year or in four years time.

No way he’s at Bayern for the rest of his career, I think they know that.

He’s let the contract run down for long enough, so he’s obviously considering his options.
Aye?

Since when did German club football become Denmark, and since when where Bayern Munich lemmings for the taking?

Lad grew up in England. I just don’t feel he’s destined to be at Bayern for the rest of of his career, like a Muller.

Lots of Bayern fans think the same too actually.

Would it be a goal for you to shape an era at FC Bayern – like Robben and Ribéry, Neuer and Müller once did?

Musiala: "I would like to shape an era at FC Bayern. If I extend my contract with FC Bayern, that's my aim and goal. But I also know that you have to work for it - with wins, with titles and big trophies - then you'll get a standing like that. I would like to work for that at FC Bayern"

Just as expected, we were just used for another huge contract extension. There’s no way these types of players leave their elite clubs in their prime. Maybe he’ll start an adventure somewhere else at 28/29/30, but until then, I see no reason for him leaving Bayern.

Not happening. I've moved in to better prospects... Not better talents. Just better prospect.

Whilst he's never going to say "no, I'd like to leave" in answer to that question, I just can't see him turning down a contract at Bayern. I'd love for us to sign him, and we'll do our best to try and rock the boat, but I expect him to extend and remain at Bayern for the foreseeable.

Lol, maybe he’s waiting for the outcome of our 115 charges.
Just tell your agent you want it done? I’ve muted the word Musiala on X because I’m sick of the daily updates we seem to get.

That’s what I really like about City, we don’t get daily updates on our players contract situations

I got to figure he is at least considering going elsewhere as they have been negotiating since August. I mean you would think if both parties were committed to a reunion the deal would be done at this point.

Heck the Nissan Honda merger talks are advancing quicker than his contract talks with Bayern.

I’d just be telling my agent to get it done, especially with the eye watering sums reported.

Is it just me or is musiala Bayern's version of foden? We already have a better version, better off spending elsewhere
This is actually very interesting considering the discussion is often about either Musiala or Wirtz. From what I have seen, Musiala has a skilset that is more similiar to Foden. Wirtz seems to lean into his passing a bit more like KdB, but isn't that different either. But while Foden has played his best football tucking in from the right, Musiala always tucks in from the left which at least prevents them from occupying the same type of spaces where they are most comfortable in. And there could easily be implemented systems where both player could do what their best at

Wirtz on the other hand, who is the dream signing for many and I agree that he looks a phenomenal talent occupies the excact same spaces Foden is the most comfortable in everytime I watch him for Leverkusen. This doesn't mean that there is no way either player can be coached into being equally effective in other situations, spaces or angles. But it is certainly more of a risk.
