    It would be incredibly dumb to get rid of all that youth in favour of keeping a bunch of declining players in their 30s for one more year. That is some diabolically bad squad planning. Gundogan, Kovacic, Ake, Akanji, Stones still have to be top of the list.

    Worth noting that Marmoush is gone for a bit with AFCON and I'm sure outside of that there could be more than enough rotation with Haaland up front to keep both happy. Doesn't solve the problem but means they could maybe kick it down the road another season.
