It's Quiet the £250m return

From what I’ve seen not good enough at right back and nowhere near as good as our other options in midfield. He should be sold
It's difficult to see any position he will make his own in our team, although he's not a bad player. Not disagreeing with you at all, but think he stays.

I assume he’s going to be a bit of a utility player coming from bench and he knows that

We really did need Gibbs White.

Would Pep play him though? Genuine question as he still wants to get Gundo and Bernardo in the team every game? Reijnders is an 8 and we seen against Juve how amazing he is at that and then next game is dropped to the 6 role? Pep could have played Gonzalez at 6 and kept Reijnders at 8 but shock horror but Gundo in again? Cherki seems to be an option of the bench as well which won’t go down well will it?

I think it's more down to the fact we can only go for HG players at the moment and he is the standout.

Not convinced the club will pay the £70-£80m it is going to take though.

I still think the club will sell an unsuspected foreign player and go for a cheaper, but equally as good option abroad.

Ready to rock now would be Dumfries then? €25m as well until 15th July?

We desperately need to sell Gundo so the new guys can get established

Walker is one of the best defensive right backs of the modern era . An ideal mix of blistering pace, physical strength, and athleticism. Rico, on the other hand, lacks those core attributes: he's relatively slow, undersized, not particularly athletic or physical, and struggles defensively. I know he's one of our own, and I’d love to back him, but the reality is that Rico isn't anywhere near Walker’s level and will never be half the player he was. It’s not just about a bad season; he simply doesn't have the tools to reach that standard.
He’s got two core attributes that Walker didn’t have

Football intelligence and technique

Which is why he’s going nowhere

His future is in midfield

I cannot see Dumfries being a target but if he is could we still sign a younger RB even if we loaned him out Dumfries just doesn’t fit with age of players otherwise

Agree 100% with this. Not sure it will be our Midfield but that's his position. Great at finding space and excellent touch but not seen him do enough with it yet. However, if we are looking to shore up a lead and see a game out can see him put on to do just that - retain possession , kill a game.

Dumfries 25 million for a defender that got 11 goals and 6 assists last season, that's an incredible market opportunity.
But he can't defend. Inter fans mock him constantly and prefer a 35 year old Darmian... says a lot. He is a workhorse but he is technically poor, I don't think that will suit Pep

As for G/A... Nunes got 4 goals and 11 assists, so almost as many goal contributions and he's still learning the position. Would just stick with him.
