£10 F&B Credit - All Season Ticket Holders

Last time I asked, they applied 10% discount instead so didn’t bother asking again but bought a hot dog and chips last night - the guy behind the counter suggested using it. It worked fine.

That was family stand, around 237.

I was sat in 123 yesterday courtesy of @Pelegrinni very kindly gifting me a ticket.
Used the self serve machine to get a beer and it was great. Should have them all over the ground. The concourse in that area is amazing compared to where I usually am in SS3.

After receiving the email a while back that my credit was in my wallet, how pissed off was I that it didn't work. The supervisor said I wasn't the only one today. I have no words. The supervisor was spot on though, he just winked and walked off. 2 x Pie n chips and 2 lemonades on the house. :)

Tried to use mine Sat L3 got truly rolled they said it had been used before....now thats not true about as much use as ash tray on a motorbike

I had a message to offer it to me. When I tried the guy behind the counter just said “Sorry, it isn’t working”.

I presume everyone has clocked on that this isn’t some good natured freebie. It is presumably a trial of the technology for some kind of future charging system.
Yes can see that coming eventually, we will have to put money on our season cards to spend instead of bank card,
nice little bit of interest with cash left over or loaded for future use.

There's not a chance that City are doing this out of the goodness of their hearts. It's a trial without a doubt. I seem to remember one of the European Aways you had to buy using the club's own credit cards. Presumably we are going that way.

I take it kids get a tenner on there card too.

They do. I was wondering if the system would be advanced enough to detect that it was a junior ticket and therefore not valid for alcohol.

But had no issue using kids tickets to get a couple of ( almost ) free pints.

Schalke iirc. Called a Knappen card.
Yes it was. Was a right pain in the arse and then we you got in it was alcohol free beer. They've made a nice little profit of course because you had to buy a minumum of 10 Euros or whatever but a pint was 7. I suspect all those bit of loose change add up over a season.

I haven't got a season ticket but I did get some free chips on Saturday. My son asked for some at half time but I sacked it off cause of the length of the queues. He went to the toilet on about 60 mins and said there was no queues so went up on the off chance there was some left and lad behind counter said I could have them!

I said the same. Years ago we did trial where city added money onto your season card to use but nothing ever came of it. Dont see the point in adding money onto your season ticket when its all just contactless anyway

It will be to make profit - interest, unspent credits etc. Like most of these things it will work worse than the thing it is replacing.

I guess the club have been taking note of people bragging on here about getting cheap beer for cash and have put a message up, encouraging people to grass if they see any cash transactions.
