Sadly my NFC doesn't work on my phone every time I go to the bar and ask for the 10% discount one of the staff members has to scan her card to give me the discount. Annoying

I never know when to put my phone near the discount scanner as the staff all seem to do it differently.

Scenario 1:
Place order
Waiter punches in details
Waiter turns around to get order
I scan the blue thing while they’re getting the order
FAIL
Waiter has to reset something and gives me a dirty look


Scenario 2:
Place order
Waiter punches in details
Waiter turns around to get order
I wait until the order arrives and waiter points to the payment thing
I scan the blue thing
FAIL
Waiter gives me dirty look and has to reset something then points me to the blue thing

I never get it right and it slows the whole thing down.
