£50m bid

I've never realized that Pogba will count as homegrown for some reason, but that really should be a big boost for Txiki and co. Hopefully he already had some lunches arranged with him in Milano. :)

But let's assume we really want him and have all the cash - if Madrid wants Pogba too, then I can still hardly see him in a City shirt. I know that they don't need a CM but that's hardly important when Perez goes nuts. Maybe Raiola meant it seriously that he would like to sold him to City or PSG...

He won't though, only spent 2½ years in England.

Ouch. It would have been too good to be true.

Is this somewhere confirmed actually? He was there from October 2009 until July 2012, it's 'almost' three years. Does it have to be proper 3 seasons spent in England? Such a shame.

Thanks for the info anyway.

Interesting, but if a bid has been made then it usually means that the player wants to come and has given an informal nod to City.

I'm trying to think of someone average in the Portugese league who we might be prepared to blow 50 million on.

Ricardo Quaresma is currently at Porto, and he can still curl the ball with the outside of his foot quite spectacularly. :)

It has to be Pogba - £50m is just shy of 70m Euros...

He's the player we see as filling the void that Yaya will eventually leave. He's young, he hates the rags and he is wanted by every club there is.

With the exchange rate at the moment good to get a bid in now and test the water. It's pretty much bang on what Juve want. I just hope they're happy with the timing and we've done the work behind the scenes required. They've a big CL game tomorrow like us and it's not ideal to be trying to buy their best player before it! Would be great news if we signed Pogba though because I still think we can get another couple of years out of Yaya and would have a beat of a midfield.

It has to be Pogba or Bale.

The Bundesliga is quite a reasonable market so Dew Bruyne would go for much less, Reus the same.

We wouldn't bid 50m for Sterling.

Koke's buyout is less than 50m

Does that mean he can take a decent corner?
