I'm sure we will be looking at and bidding for the likes of Pogba, Koke, Bale, Sterling, Reus and De Bruyne as well as a LB and testing availability. We won't get all of them but we'll have a plan A and plan B and will test both options and see where the flexibility is. I imagine we're looking at £100m net spend, we'll see a few go and probably spend £150m or so. That would start to make our squad look a lot better and bring the age down a bit. I'm not too concerned by the ageing squad comments. We've got talent in the academy to address that. Over the coming seasons we can replace two full backs with younger players and add a young centre back into the mix. Denayer, Kompany, Mangala, Demichelis, Zabaleta, Maffeo, Kurzawa (as an example) and Angelino is a great blend. Similarly the likes of Nemane, Boadu, Bryan, Barker, Lopes, Ambrose and Garcia will be wanting to come into the squad and there's no reason they can't. Saves the big money for big names - and then it will be easy to have a top 2 squad every season.

We spend heavily this summer and we'll have the solid spine and foundations with which to integrate academy talents.

Sounds fucking amazing!!! Just imagine if our first 2 signings in the summer were pogba and bale??? What a statement of intent that would be!!! Would certainly get the stadium full if we added gaya, sterling, and varane! ;-)
