Where do I start with this one?
We’ve had untold success that we are unlikely to ever repeat.
We’ve broken countless records.
We’ve seen the best ever Premier league team, indeed football league team with a four peat.
Treble winners, Centurions, the list goes on.
Top scoring premier league player.
Goalkeeper with the most golden glove awards.
A midfielder winning Balon D’Or.
Yet some of our fan base has become the epitome of everything we mocked our neighbours for. I’m not an avid social media user but my lad has shown me some of the nonsense being posted. Some absolute tools out there. We don’t need them, don’t want them and I’m fed up of these ridiculous comments, ‘expectations have changed’, ‘don’t keep dwelling on the past’, ‘you need to keep improving’, blah, blah, blah.
‘Influencers’ put them in the bin.
‘You tubers’ majority of them, put them in the bin.
I’ve seen the good, the bad and the downright bloody ugly.
And I’ll tell you what, I won’t slag my manager or team off after a couple of iffy results.
Get a bloody grip. Get behind the team, do exactly what you’re professing to be, a supporter, in good times and bad times and we’ve seen plenty of those.
So many threads, on here, with very entitled posts. Yes, we’re all allowed to have differing opinions but just a sense of perspective would be appreciated at times.
Certainly from those of us that are a little longer in the tooth. It’s old fashioned I know, probably will get a pile on for it but hey, just felt it needed saying.

Not going to lie but I did love a good managerial merry go round back in the day. I’ve seen the worst and the best of this magnificent club since 1982 and seen us win trophies I never thought I’d ever see us win. If our owners and Pep left tomorrow I’d have no problem with that because they’ve delivered us everything and I want us to be shit again ;)

Everyone’s entitled to their opinions but a few of our fans have made idiots of themselves. Especially the guy on the other thread who said Kova is a poor player ffs.

It’s not just a Bluemoan issue. There was a thread on the Facebook page of the Supporters club Branch I run, from a minority of Members, claiming that only beating Southampton 1nil wasn’t good enough. I wish we’d have beaten Bournemouth by the off goal. Each to their own and congrats to Bournemouth.

After the Southampton game, I think our fans need to decide if they are leaving it to a few hundred to get behind the team with tens of thousands doing a sponsored silence.

Doing your own whole thread on the subject is quite entitled you could say.

Expectations have changed, we are the best run club in the world, with the best manager in the world with many of the best players in the world. It is not an entitlement that we have a right to win every game, we have lost a lot over the years being unlucky and underserving of it. At the moment we are fluking wins we don't deserve and losing games we deserve to lose. That is hard to take being the club we are, we shouldn't ever be outfought or a team "wanting it more" that is unacceptable and gone are the days of us simply hoping we just turn up for games. We get behind the team at games, we then may discuss on places like here and social media our real thoughts. The owners won't be happy with our performances of late, I doubt they say never mind, this club was in Division 2 25 years ago. They have expectations as us fans do. We absolutely still show up at games, cheer the boys on and support them through the good and bad. It doesn't make them immune from criticism outside of the stadium though.

If you aren't happy with people expressing their opinions about City then I would say avoid a city supporters football forum.
