Going away to Sunderland on a Friday night first game of the season and leaving your tickets at home is a crisis then doing the same on a bank holiday Monday at Blackburn is a crisis, which at the time I thought it was , you then go to Lincoln and York and Wycombe and don’t win , not perturbed you go to Plymouth on a Tuesday night for the game to be called off along with spurs and Brentford games getting called off , then the great storm of 87 when we managed to get to Ipswich, and the Ira doing there best to blowing up motorways when we played Norwich away on a Friday night some battles along with now cancer which I’m coming through, all of the above no crisis just a blip in the road on a journey. This is what city means to us , we’ve been in many , many worse states, .
