“Follow you everywhere” chant

I'm 50 too and it's a great song.
I just sing spent all my money on beer and City instead.
Any song that can be sung over and over has been needed for ages.

And C'mon City is for def our worst song. It's always been more of a moan than a song. It's usually sung when fans are pissed off with the game/effort and it's kinda accusing & demanding rather than encouraging

Not sure what depressed me more in Nottingham,. Leipzig,.and Bournemouth. The tedious repetition,.or the sense that at 58, I'm probably in a.minority that prefers CITY or CMON CITY.

In truth, it's a dreadful dirge that makes us sound stupid and certainly doesn't motivate the players.
It's a flipping day out mate not everything has to motivate the players

Some proper miserable bastards that follow us fucking hell let the young lads enjoy themselves and you could see how much the players appreciated the constant noise from our end throughout the game by the reception we got from them after the final whistle so to say it doesn’t motivate them is bollocks

If you don't like the drugs reference sing beer, if you don't like alcohol reference sing Manchester City, if you don't like the song don't sign it at all, nobody is forcing anyone.

Just great to hear a group of lads and lasses singing loud and proud a song which lasts a decent period of time instead of one quick chorus then silence. I like it, tune been stuck in my head all day.

Its a substitute for the lack of class and history we have.

Seriously though the majority of fans of Arsenal/Pool only supported them as they were successful, to bask in the reflected glory, to so its natural for them to make out there somehow unique or special, rather than have the ability to laugh at themselves.

Its a personality trait of their support. Like the bloke who brags about his new car, tells you how great he is, just to cover his insecurities.
I have this underlying feeling after just 2 x mins with a dipper. Insufferable cnts

Agreed, hate to hear this too. We’ve become spoilt and are very hard to please at the best of times and when this is sung you know the fans are getting inpatient about the style of play. It’s never come across as a positive song. Must really annoy Pep.
