Is it just me but I can’t stand this chant… could very well be the first chant I refuse to sing

Heard about 30 non-league Trafford Borough fans sing it at the beginning of the season and thought it was poor at that level

That’s coz it’s only £3.80 for a pint of Stella

People need to see that there's a time and place for songs like this. Against Arsenal we need the atmosphere to be hostile and intimidating, which means we shouldn't sing this unless we get a comfortable lead.

I think it's a really great song, but it's really not one we should be singing when trying to roar the lads to victory

I can't decide whether the "awoooooo" sounds like one of them shite American MLS chants or the sound of 3 thousand teenagers balls dropping at the same time.

i know what a few fans mean by tone levels, hard to follow rhythm. But it is a very good song doers sound good way from home but also gets going nicely in lower SS when we are 2 or 3 up.

Needs to have people stood on seats, bouncing around, raising arms up, this is what makes it sound and look good. What i like is that it is different, the wahooooooo you would think is a bit weak but it isnt, it creates an individual feel. Just hope it isnt copied to much, thats when songs become shite.

Somebody said worse song they have heard, not by a long way though. Worse song has to be "who needs gold", even spandau ballet version was shit

To be fair, this song usually gets going when spirits are high. I think we'll be too nervous for this against Arsenal until/unless we're comfortable.

I get what you're saying though. To be honest, my personal chant gripe is singing, 'tearing cockneys apart again' at only 1-0. I wish we'd leave this until we are actually run away with the game.

watching Real Madrid v Chelsea last night I heard the Real fans chanting to US Marines drill march in Full Metal Jacket



Can’t believe no other teams have not used this as you could create endless verses and really get it going
