I would look at the last 3 games and see that we have beaten the top team, beaten Arsenal in the 1/4 finals of the cup, and got a draw in a local derby despite having the ref against us and 10 men for a third of the game.

Personally I think we're below where we shoud be given the quality of the squad, the spending, wages and resources available. Not by much, but it's been overall a pretty disappointing run.

This is City we're talking about, isn't it? The team that can lose against all the bottom clubs (giving them their only win of the season), then pull off something magical against the top clubs. It's been like this for ages. One defeat is great in my books. A few seasons ago, it would have been loads more. There can only be one team at the top, and I almost dread getting there, because anything less is then considered as major a disaster as relegation. Just enjoy the football for now and support the team.

the game in hand is not an automatic win though. If results dont go our way in midweek we could be 8th behind Birmingham. So based on that no its not the best lol
