1 | James Trafford - 2025/26

Stop swearing at people for having an opinion on a player, these players are multimillionaires, and are aware of what this job entails. Policeworkers, teachers, doctors try their best and get criticism and they earn 10x less than this lad. If you wanna be a Ty from AFTV be a Ty from AFTV and see good in everything go ahead, but after a loss and an idiotic mistake people are allowed to criticise.
Sniff sniff

Stop Panicking.

It's a rebuild and there will be growing pains.

Trafford was solid and didn't do anything wrong!!

Deserves to be our number #1. For everyone complaining I don't see you doing any better than him and he showed his grit with that double save!
Didn't do anything wrong?

Didn't cost us the game and will learn from this game
Hopefully it is the club who does the learning. He’s nowhere near ready to play for us, might never be. He was playing for Burnley in the championship and the jump is huge. Either get Eddie back as number 1 or get Donnarumma in. Fucking suicidal this decision and it could be seen from a mile off.

Thought he played well, good save at the end, was good on the ball other than his mistake - seemed to recover well from that too.

For his mistake, Nico shouldn’t even be asking for that pass, but Trafford should’ve known better.

No point commenting on individuals - whole team was poor.

Gonzales was showing for the ball and he made a mistake. Big fucking deal. He also had a double save at the end where it was easy to concede. He didn’t lose the game for us. He performed poorly like every other player in blue today. We win as a team, today we lost as a team. It’s on every one of them plus the coaching team.

One game, one bad pass. I still think we shouldn’t be judging him based on that. He will be class

City fans need to get behind him. I will say Dias in front and the midfield was non existent
Yes, agree Dias seemed to lack control all game and his first touch was a bit tentative - but then their pressing looked aggressive.

Didn't do anything wrong?

HE DID ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WRONG!

Everyone loves to blame goalkeepers but the fuck up is before it gets to him.

Just like Ederson got tons of blame for years.. now it's Trafford.

Donnarumma won't magically paper over the cracks.. the same thing with happen again. The problem in this case was Ruben's pass!

I'm not even remotely worried about Trafford.

What I am worried about is a general lack of fight. No desire at all to make things happen. Just strolling around and Spurs outworking us again.

Are you Lord Haw Haw?
Or JT's mum?

Only on Bluemoan can idiots write Trafford off after 2 games!
This idiot knew he shouldn’t have been playing before he played his 1st game. Some fans have this utopia playing in their head, where a kid who couldn’t hack it in the prem 1st time round, does 12 months in the championship and comes back world-class. A utopia where we can just discard the keeper that has helped us win trophies galore and replace him with a kid who has won fuck all. A utopia where after 90 mins against a shite Wolves team, they are convinced that we don’t need a top-class proven keeper, who has played at the highest level, nah, that kid from Burnley can do it.

Trafford cannot be our number 1 this season. He might never be our number 1.
