He was 19 and playing for one of the worst sides in premier league history. The club and we as fans surely can’t be judging him on that season
 
Noticeable that we wasnt using him in build up from the back more often than not and it got us into some problems. Not his fault just an observation on the changes we'll have to make with no Ederson.

Few uneasy moments on the ball, a tremendous clipped ball for the third but otherwise very little else to do. Clean sheet always welcome for a debutant though, couldnt have planned an easier, more ideal debut.
 
Think the biggest thing to work on judging on today is when he’s going to rush out to sweep and not.

He was hesitant today. Not a criticism as such but the back line need to know when he’s rushing and when he isn’t.
 
Did everything that was expected of him very good performance and seemed very assured in close control.

One questionable punch in the first half and one incident of holding the ball too long in the second were the only two small nit picks of a really nice debut. Loved that pass to set up third goal.
 
Wish he would panic a bit earlier and clear it faster and not so last minute ,we can still go long without us having heart attacks in the stand .

Ortega stays as his number 2 and give Jimmy T the season. He didn't put a foot wrong yesterday, was quick off his line, made some decent saves and set up one of the goals with his quick thinking.

Of course we can. Let’s make Trafford the best keeper in the world and develop him.

I don’t think donnaruma is the best keeper in the world either. He was great in the champions league, but he’s been quite average at times for PSG.
