1 minutes silence/applause for Alan Henning

On facebook there have been numerous calls for a 1 minute silence before the match against spurs for Alan Henning as he was a Manchester man and i believe his son supports city (not sure if he did). This would need to be arranged for by the club if we did a minutes silence but does anyone know who to contact if not, anyone on here that can plan a minutes applause properly during the match if the silence cannot be arranged?


EDIT: Also saw it should be done on the 47th minute as he was 47

the trouble with having a one minute silence when its not official there will always be people who don't know that's when it can get nasty 'people shouting above one another to shut up' one minute applause is so much better, its a great idea and it dosnt matter if he was a blue or red he was a Manchester lad. lets go for it

Not sure - just think being that it will get noticed by media and involves terrorism acts they may not want it to go ahead could be wrong though?
