Giving out free flags, very tacky and plastic.

Cynical bumhole.. it's only a few flags... god knows the place could do with an atmosphere boost at times and if a few flags do it, then I'm all for it.

Do you want the kids involved in creating an atmosphere (since there's gonna be a lot of them tonight) or do you want them sitting there in silence in the north stand playing on their DSes?

I don't think that face-palm was thought through was it?! It's all about the kids tonight, cheap admission, get some new blues on board etc. I know my kids would love to be given a scarf/flag/whatever to wave about and encourage them to get involved, rather than just sit there like the adults do. It'll get them whetted up for going again. Great idea.
