10 hours on a train

What Train journey from A to B last 10 hours in Britain? - is the OP somewhere exotic?

Blackpool to Preston 35 min
Preston to Glasgow 2-45 min
Glasgow to Helensburgh 1-10min
Thats 41/2 hours add the return journey and waiting for connection and changing station in Glasgow and we are well over 10 hours
Plus the Preston to Glasgow was delayed by 20 mins :cry:
So exotic afraid not

If the railways hadn't been privatised or electrified you'd have been there in an hour and half, two hours tops, then back home in time for a tasty chip barm. I blame the Tories. But then the unions had it coming. And them you have them immigrants getting on with the wrong ticket and speaking proper. If Jesus was in charge of this railway system you'd have been there yesterday I tell thee.

Pick the bones out of that lot, that should keep you busy for a bit.

Failing that buy some Buxton mineral water and walk from carriage to carriage flicking drops of water at each person whilst shouting "the power of Christ compels you bitch/thundercunt*". Should keep you busy for a bit

My daughter ran into this bloke on her train home from college last night. Thank god that wasn't a 10 hour journey!!

He needs to work on his concerned face.

I went From Manchester to Barnstable on a train once on my way to Ilfracombe

9 hours and 40 minutes it took

I got to Florida from Manchester faster than that!!
