Has got everything in his locker to be a top player for us but he needs to move it a bit quicker. Receiving the ball, taking 5 touches, when 1 will do and going nowhere won’t wash in this side.
He’s much better than what we are seeing so far. I have faith.

the worry with him, for me, is that the deficiencies that i'm seeing in his game don't strike me as lack of understanding of formation or role, what to do or where to stand. i only see a player that looks like he is extremely lacking on the technique side, which is shocking to me considering what we thought we were getting. the touches he makes, the way he dribbles, the passes. idk how much of that you're gonna change with training or better positional understanding. those should be his upsides but they look so far off the level of everyone else in his position in the team.
maybe i'm just forgetting, but i absolutely don't remember thinking of that at any point during mahrez's or leroy's first seasons..

I've every confidence he'll become consistently brilliant for us; primarily because he's the type of player that Pep typically gets the best from.
That being said, he's gonna have to play much more aggressively and adventurously than he did tonight. He's more than capable of stealing the show from the left let's see how he grows throughout the remainder of the season.
