people here just don't want to believe Jack is doing exactly what pep is asking him to do. except for his finishing I think he is carrying out his instructions to a tee. especially the previous quote in the tweet is more telling.

This line is more telling he says Jack was a wide player in name only at Villa and then he moved inside. he says Jack is the perfect player to play between the lines. this all but confirms to me that pep sees him as a midfielder.

There's a really obvious question that nobody seems to have an answer to, which is if Grealish was doing so poorly why has he been picked so often?

grealish has done nothing wrong really....hes not played bad , cost us games etc.....hes just not playing as the superstar in an average team. hes playing as an average player in a superstar team.
his time will come and untill he starts fucking up every game then im happy for him to be in starting 11

exactly as if pep will be emotionally swayed by the price tag. he is famous for binning of players who do not work for him like ibra. I suspect pep is giving him the chance to learn his system and nurturing him to be a better player in the middle even if he is not having great output. after all he sees him as a important part of our future team while many here are trigger happy to bin of anything that does not work immediately.

It's very obvious he's trying too hard to please Pep by following his instruction to the letter in fear to not doing so he will be benched.
