He did ok yesterday, but i agree we should be seeing more.

When you look at his attributes, and the player that was a worldie at Villa,it's odd thet Pep has bought him to mould into something alien and different.

Its unfair to judge him terminally at this point,as he is another square peg doing his best in a very unique environment.

Saying that, its understandable that fan frustration is setting in as we cannot afford another passenger when we already have one in Sterling.

Up there with ''Foden was anonymous.''

He's basically the safest, most conservative of the three players we have alternated between the left of the front three and the false-9 position (Grealish, Foden, Sterling).

Foden makes by far the most crosses of the three and has the most assists.

Sterling completes the most dribbles, takes the most shots, and has the most goals.

Grealish loses the ball least (highest pass completion and dispossessed least often), and makes the most key passes.

Can't think of a single game where he's been man of the match, or even made a crucial difference. For a £100m attackers that's not great. Hopefully next season he turns it around and becomes a decisive player as this year, he's just not had an impact at all.

Wouldn't say no to him scoring a winner on the final day against Villa though, that'd be a nice start!

He's so risk-averse, that's the problem. You don't win man of the match if every time you get the ball you either pass back or try to win a foul.

I would love to see Grealish in a more central role.. just feel as though his skill set more naturally lends itself to attacking mid play.

People need to remember that:
1. He didn’t choose his price tag, and
2. Cancelo, Mahrez and even Bernardo had quiet first seasons.

He played great yesterday in what was a tough game.

I’d rather Grealish be in our squad than not. Eventually he will prove his worth to the team. He’s doing just fine as it stands.

Valid points, but there was better available for taht sort of money.
