He's getting better, much more involved in games now. Still needs to improve his productivity in the final third but its great to see him more settled in the side.
Agree with that - good things are he wants the ball, other players trust him to keep the ball, seems to be a little more direct, wins fouls galore but like you I just wish his final ball was more telling but hopefully that will come. We’ve probably been spoilt by having 2 of the greatest passers of a football in PL history in KDB and the great David Silva - not much to live up to Jack lad !!!

We need to get Phil Foden involved more, it gets more and more difficult when Mahrez, Grealish and Silva are playing well. But that is what makes the team great. I thought Rodri had a howler against Spuds and thought he might be dropped to give Phillips some game time yesterday, but Rodri was MOTM for me, closely followed by Jack and Kev.

Constant probing, won pen and importantly taking higher difficulty shots. He can build on that and the goals will start flowing. Wish that volley went in, think it could have perma unlocked his goal threat.
He was unlucky on a couple of occasions, his other shot was curling in too, until the keeper made a great save.

He was definitely more positive and creative so keep it going Jack!

And daft cunts who thought Pep wouldn’t be able to turn this lad into a great player. You know, Pep Guardiola? Our manager?

Are some of you cunts for real?
I don’t think he is a great player. But I think there might be one in there.

I think there are levels to go in this lad yet but more and more he’s starting to believe it and show it.

I think Phillips will be on the way out mate to be honest. If he can’t grab 5 minutes even yesterday then I don’t see him here next season

The main thing he has become consistently good for a couple of months now

You can see he knows he belongs at this level now and has been getting more confident.

It can’t be easy having a £100m put on you from the club where you’re the main man and been since you’re a little kid and then end up at a team where there’s much greater expectations and surrounded by players who are world class. The spotlight is always on you and people willing to shoot you down when you’re not spectacular. It probably doesn’t really help some players momentum being at a team that rotates a lot. Some players need to start week after week when possible.

It’s taken him a good season to settle in and realise he can play at this level and is getting better all the time.

Seems like all those hell bent on saying he’s a waste of money have gone a bit quiet recently though..

Yes, there goal put a doubt in Pep’s mind and kept Rodri on.

But as you say telling he did not get even 5 minutes.

Prehaps the 2 enforced subs played a part too.
