Just watching the recording on bt. Jacks face when told the stat that he has created the most ever chances for an Englishman in a champions league campaign - a mixture of surprise, happiness, pride and embarrassment- i just wanted to give him a cuddle, what a thoroughly nice lad. For all the morons from other clubs who boo him - why???

People on this forum hated him before he joined us, you can see it on other threads.

I think it's just one of those things, a bit of jealousy too. They see a young good looking lad with the floppy hair that enjoys his life, bangs women most could only dream of and plays in a way that probably annoys opposition because he's near enough unstoppable on the ball unless you take him out. But football stadiums are just a bit of theatre and he's an easy choice as villain for opposition fans to boo. That's all I really put it down too. Nothing really too serious.

Let's be real, if he was playing for Liverpool, people on here would be slating him. It's just part of the theatre that is football. It's not really to be taken too seriously.

Of course when you start to see the real person and his interactions with kids and fans, he's just a very down to earth lad.

Nope not me. I will abuse someone like Rudiger, someone who hurts a City player, never booed Jack when he was at Villa

Well yeah obviously not everyone

But you only need to look back at this forum to see how quite a few fans here felt about him before there was ever any talk of him coming here.

As I said, it's theatre, people take it all too seriously. I don't think 99% those that boo him seriously have any true hatred towards him.

Whether it's booing or just shit talking, it's usually just part of the experience. Look at this forum when we're watching other teams games, many people calling other teams players all sorts of names, such as United players, but it's just in context of football for most.

I can't stand Bruno Fernandes on the pitch, boils my piss. But Bruno Fernandes the father and husband is probably alright i'd imagine.

Turned into quite the player, controlled himself last night but that is certainly something he needs to work on , concentrate on the game and he can play very well

It really isn't. You've mentioned this a few times since his reaction at Fulham. That was over the top, but he didn't get punished for it and he's almost always in control of his emotions whilst being incredibly passionate.

He got attacked by a Birmingham City fan on the pitch for Villa, what did he do? He scored the winner.

He's constantly kicked and tripped and wound up and booed by fans. He thrives on it. He knows exactly what he is doing. How many times has he been sent off in his career?

This side needs that bit of bite. Show the opposition we're not going to sit back and get bullied. We've now got players all over the pitch who will have that battle if needed.

The people on here who you say used to slag Jack off are probably the same cunts who slag our players off on the matchday forum

Mourinho agrees.

We have a superstar who probably doesn’t always realise he’s the superstar. It’s endearing but pretty soon, and he might already be there or close to getting there, Jack will realise what he is and what he can be. Being best mates with Haaland might actually take him to that state of mind, with the professionalism of Erling and way he looks after his body. I don’t expect Jack to do all of what he does but some of it will rub off on him. Jack’s unreal man, I actually can’t get over how good he is.

What's wrong with getting booked? Most City players get booked for their first offence. He's not been sent off, he's not actually been in any fight where he's going to get punished. He does everything in a controlled manner. He loves the battle and sticks up for himself. Wind the fuck out of the opposition and then make them lose their heads. We had a master in that in Fernandinho. He had Di Maria wrapped around his finger in the semi final 2nd leg and got exactly what he was hoping for from him.
