Slightly disappointing is a comment I would expect from a loyal fan, in the cold light of day , at this time, he has been very disappointing, not a disaster, not poor but disappointing and should be doing far more.

I think he’ll come in for Foden for a few games as soon as he’s fit.

I love Phil and he was better today but hasn’t been spectacular and Alvarez offers the same work rate which makes him easier to drop without the team losing intensity as a whole.

The 442 we played tonight gives Grealish more room to come inside where he’s at his best as well.

Actually I think that if we play 442 Foden will be very good at right attacking midfielder role because he can use his long pass from right hand side to feed Halaand from the left. Remember the pass Foden delivered to Grealish in FA cup? Once in England Foden played in that role and it was his best game in England's shirt. Wonder if Pep would give it a try facing low block teams.
