Could have kissed him when he did that. I think he’s reached a level of performance now where he’ll be at least a 7/10 every week, while his best performances are a 9. If the goals start coming on a regular basis there’ll be some embarrassed posters here, if they’re not already.

Bernardo Silva on Jack Grealish: "Jack is a great guy, in the dressing room and on the pitch and he showed it today. That is what we need from him. I really like him off the pitch. He is a great person as well and if he continues to play like this he will be great for us."
 
He's made it through the initial stage where he questions his ability to play for this team, tries to understand what the manager wants and changes his game. It's now natural, and he's clearly benefitting from a run in the team and that confidence. Playing with a left footed left back who allows him to do his attacking work helps too, Cancelo often tried to steal the limelight, using Jack for his own benefit rather than supporting him and changing his game for Jack to flourish.

He's a great character and deserves the plaudits. Great to see him get his goal too, he needs to keep making those runs into the box. He'll get dozens of goals if he does. He almost didn't make the run until he realised how much space he had thanks to Trotting Alexander.
 
One of if not the best performance I’ve seen him have in a city shirt.

Where are all those posters that were slagging him off every week last season ? It’s one thing doing that but at least give him the credit when he’s the best person on the pitch eh ?
 
We've seen it in flashes - he was incredible v Madrid last season, but now it's consistent - he's influencing every game at the moment and you can imagine there's more to come too. Added to that fact is he seems a genuinely lovely lad too. Lovely lovely lovely.
 
Really hope he reads this thread and realises how well thought of he is, been our best player this season behind the big fella
 
Amazing what a bit of confidence can do. I'm so pleased for him, long may he continue on this trajectory.

I think he and Pep have properly worked each other out now. Jack's always needed a manager who loves him (just look at how the likes of Sherwood and Smith talk about him even now, that almost paternal pride...) and I think Pep's giving him the reassurances he needs to shed some of his doubts and hesitations.

I can't wait to see how good he gets for us.
 
Good to see him shut his haters down. Always believed he is more than he showed. Ofc the price tag will never be accepted from the public if he won’t score 20 and assist 20 goals in one season and even if he manage that, they will still hate him to be to expensive. But now where we need his quality more than ever he shows what he has in his bag. Cmon super Jack.
 
Fully deserves to play for us and i`m delighted he is now showing what he can do in a pep team. Always fought his cause and to be fair to jack its finally clicked in the system when he confirmed himself he had found it hard to get used to things but hes one of the first 6 on the team sheet currently for me.
