People will debate whether or not he has been a success. I think there’s an argument either way. The side has been uber successful since he arrived but his G/A contributions have been seriously lacking.Think it’s just a case of keeping him in the shop window now rather than hoping for a resurrection.
I’ve always backed him but I think it’s just run its course.
Grealish is like one of those sides that bores the pants of you as a supporter but wins games. You know you don’t like what you see but are willing to forgive it as long as you’re winning. Southgates England springs to mind. However, once the results aren’t good (like this season) the fingers are going to be pointed at a wide forward who doesn’t score for a year…and counting.
My money is on him being done here.
