Cherki is an incredibly talented footballer and gonna be a really exciting watch. I make one plea to City fans about when he returns to the team...try to be patient. I say this because it can take time to adjust to PL football. Even David Silva took time to adjust and some fans were actually questioning if he would be a success in England.

Having said that I would not be surprised if Cherki does something amazing in his first game back.

he has higher understanding of Pep tactics and has more time playing with current squad

Cherki meanwhile has not been here a lot of time and has been injured for some time

By the time, i think he will overtake Bobb

as far as i know, transfermarkt put an estimate of how long the injury will be in total and how many games he's missed and is forecast to miss, in total. On another view it says from 30/08/25 to 01/11/25. Then i assume they back date it when he returns from injury. (?). it's confusing to do it that way though

Think he might be a slow burner for us.

He plays the game at his own pace. Didn’t press particularly well either v Spurs and will need to improve his off the ball work.

As he is a bit of a maverick with the ball the others might need time to know what he’s going to do. Similar to Doku.

Certainly feel like he’s got a chance at us but he is raw for a ‘Pep team’ spot.

If we're going to play a high line, lack of press is going to lead to problems.
