10 | Rayan Cherki - 2025/26

Cherki is currently on course to 40+ G/A this season.

I doubt that's likely to happen (contributing G/A every 70 minutes or so over a whole season is hard to sustain), but if it happens, he will beat Kevin's and Yaya's best seasons numbers wise...

Fuck me if you don't rate Silva then you shouldn't watch football..used to love Kinky but he's not in the same class as David
As for sideways passes did you miss the assist for the goal in the 6-1.. something kinky could never dream of..

Why is he playing as RW today? Because West Ham press with two FWs so we need three men at back (Nunes, Rúben, Gvardiol). So Nunes can't be WB, so Cherki must stay wide. It's tactical reason. Anyway Cherki is our best RW too.
 
While I agree with others that he was terrific, I also understand why Pep subbed him off. He's young, so he'll gain it with experience, but when they had the momentum early in the second half, he kept losing the ball by trying to force it rather than retain possession and let us get a handle on things again.

Both he and Reijnders will have to be rotated this month; the games just come too thick and too fast, and we also have to get other players involved.

Said before he arrived, he’ll put it on a plate for them, but if they drop their dinner, well it’s not on him.
 
He just seems dead relaxed out there. Great feet and doesn’t fold under pressure. He was a bit loose on the ball in the second half but it’s 99% glorious from the lad
